Commercial building is literally going through the roof in Auckland and they are currently starting a significant number of projects awarded at the end of 2017. In order to keep up with this demand my client is looking for and experienced assistant site manager to work on some great projects whilst enjoying a lifestyle unique to New Zealand.
This is an amazing opportunity to transfer your already successful career straight into one of the busiest construction markets around. As assistant site manager you will be responsible for managing various trades on new build projects across the city in sectors such as retail, education, government, high rise apartments and health. You will always be supported by the wider team, but in New Zealand you very quickly take sole responsibility for your section of work.
We are seeking an experienced assistant site manager with a great track record behind them. This company is all about opportunities for their people and growing from within so we’re looking for those wanting to make the most of those opportunities. As assistant site manager you will already have an industry related trade background and so know your way around site and how work should be done properly. You will be experienced in managing your trades and their workload as well is working in unison with other subcontractors on site at any one time. Health and safety is a must on site and so you’re knowledge and working practices in that must be top-notch.
