The Building Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the services component of projects are designed and installed in the most effective manner to ensure the financial and operational success of completed projects. You will have gained approximately 10 years’ experience working for a main contractor (or possibly an M&E Contractor) on large commercial and institutional projects.

In NZ, the main contractor usually takes responsibility for delivery of these components using both internal specialists and subcontractors. You will have expertise to cover both Mechanical and Electrical installations such as HVAC etc. You will need a stable employment background showing great career advancement indicating the ability to significantly contribute to the future success of the company, i.e. you will be a key contributor to successful project outcomes.
