Construction Manager – Civil & Infrastructure

This civil and infrastructure contractor works throughout the North and South islands. They have outstanding reputation in the civil and infrastructure sector and are responsible for many successful major projects throughout the country. Currently they are working on the early stages of a major project in Auckland that will be their focus for at least the next 3 years with a potential for further contracts beyond.
Due to an internal promotion the project is now in need of a Construction Manager to join the team as soon as possible. As Construction Manager you will have experience delivering civil and infrastructure projects with values of £30 million and above as part of a main contractor or large subcontractor . That experience can be in any area of civil or infrastructure work but experience with concrete based projects will be valuable. Experience of alliance or joint venture projects would be desirable but is not a must. Other desired qualities include;
- An industry related degree or equivalent
- Excellent commercial and contractual understanding
- Big project experience as a contractor
- Excellent management and communication skills
- A winning attitude
