This specialist subcontractor is flat out in both Auckland and Wellington and they are looking for a number of formwork carpenters, leading hands and foremen to join their crew. This well-established subcontractor is working on some of the most prestigious civil and construction projects for the leading main contractors around the north island.
As a formwork carpenter, leading hand, foreman you will have your trade qualification and have solid experience of working on both infrastructure and construction projects. You’ll be good working as part of a team or independently and have a good understanding of plans and specs so that you can deliver quickly and on the mark every time. If you’re working as a leading hand or foreman you’ll be used to getting the best out of your team and making sure high levels of quality and delivery are achieved. Ideal requirements for the role include,
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a civil or construction contractor
- Excellent experience working with concrete/formwork or shuttering
- Appropriate tickets and H&S understanding
