Land Surveyor – Civil Contractor – New Zealand
Although winter in New Zealand major projects are still ongoing in the civil and infrastructure sector and this roading projects South of Auckland is no exception. Part of the ongoing redevelopment of State Highway one down through the Waikato this project involves the construction of a new multilane highway to replace the existing road.
The main contractor on this project is now in need of experienced land surveyor to join their team. This is a primarily site-based role in the existing personnel are working hard on the project using traditional methods but also drones and new technology. This is an exciting, permanent position for a well-established New Zealand contractor with a track record of producing high-quality infrastructure work on time and to budget.
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years’ experience working as a land surveyor and ideally some of that time will be working with a contractor but this is not essential. This is a greenfield project so experience in that environment would be beneficial though it is expected that a surveyor with experience in the civil and infrastructure sector will be able to hit the ground running. Having a good knowledge of surveying techniques and the latest technology will result in a great fit with the team on this project and see you immediately developing your career in New Zealand.
