Professional Services Manager – Hamilton, NZ
This new role has come about in response to increased activity in the civil and infrastructure sector. Already well-established in the region my client is looking to increase their capacity and is in need of a Professional Services Manager to take on that responsibility. The role will be responsible for all works taking place in the Waikato Region with the room for potential involvement in additional individual projects on a case-by-case basis. The role will require a broad set of skills and so the net is being cast far and wide to secure the best person. Comparative roles in the industry would include, but are not exclusive to, principle engineer or branch/division manager with a consulting engineering firm.
The position of professional services manager will take responsibility primarily for roading and maintenance contracts and so the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in this field. Experience will most likely come from a consulting engineering or client background and as well as a technical understanding there will be the need for managerial experience as well. Areas of particular interest include asset management, road design and programming, capital works project investigation and framework contracts. Although not essential to have all of these in your CV certainly those with experience in the majority of these areas will be considered best fit for this role.
In respect to your experience you will be offered a very competitive salary as part of a larger package that includes a vehicle and relocation assistance as required. Overseas candidates are encouraged to apply for this role and Catalyst Recruitment are specialists in assisting overseas candidates into the New Zealand market. If this role is of interest then I am very keen to see a copy of your CV and look forward to talking with you at length about your experience and the specific details of this position.
