My client is one of the leading commercial construction contractors working throughout the country on a variety of projects. Their projects cover numerous sectors including health, infrastructure, high rise residential, tourism, retail, government and other general commercial builds. With a number of major projects up and running or due to start very soon they are looking for talented and experienced individuals to become part of the team in Christchurch and to enjoy all that the South Island has to offer.
As a Project Manager you’ll be used to working on construction projects of £10m or above, utilising your team to get the best result for all stake holders. This contractor is known for taking on complex and innovative projects and it will be your responsibility to maintain those high standards and work closely with the client to ensure their expectations are met. Ideally you’ll have a tertiary qualification or equivalent related to the construction or project management sector, backed up your extensive practical experience. Other desirable attributes include,
- Strong IT skills with systems such as MS Project, Excel etc.
- A proven track record of delivering high end commercial construction projects
- Excellent man management skills and the ability to focus your team to deliver great results
- A desire to develop your career on amazing construction projects
