About the opportunities
These roles are with some of New Zealand’s most respected civil contractors, delivering major infrastructure projects across the country. Opportunities exist in multiple locations including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Tauranga, Queenstown, and regional centres—offering flexibility depending on your preferred lifestyle and career goals.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a leading civil contractor
- Proven project engineering experience on complex civil infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in self-delivery environments, with the ability to manage site teams and direct labour
- Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors effectively
- Background in one or more of the following:
- Three Waters / Water Infrastructure
- Roads & Transport
- Bridges & Structures
- Piling & Foundations
- General Civil / Earthworks
- Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Relevant engineering qualification (Degree or equivalent)
