My client is a leading international heavy civil contractor running a number of key infrastructure projects around Australia valued in the billions. In order for these projects to be a success there is a need to recruit top talent from around the world and as such they are now searching for a number of Site Engineers.
As site engineer you will be a key component in the delivery of civil works throughout the project. You will work closely with senior engineers and crews to ensure the project delivery runs smoothly and that works are being completed in line with design. Your experience will see you recognizing problems and using your experience to come up with workable solutions.
You will be a qualified engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally with tunneling, drilling & blasting, grouting or heavy civil experience that includes large concrete and marine works. Other requirements include,
- An engineering degree or equivalent such as diploma or NVQ
- Experience of large scale civil and infrastructure projects
- A positive and driven approach to work aligned with problem solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- An aspiration to develop and further your career
