2022 is underway and with an extensive pipeline of work ahead this contractor is looking to secure a Project Manager with experience in heavy civil and structures work as part of the company’s expansion plans in Christchurch. As a growing company they work as either lead or subcontractor on complicated heavy civil, structures and marine projects including bridges, water treatment works, M&E, wharfs, rail, tunneling, piling and foundation works and major concrete works.
As Project Manager you will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the industry with a civil contractor with a range of heavy civil project experience, water treatment works, bridges etc. As well as project involvement the role will include managing budgets and other commercial matters, dealing with staffing requirements, health and safety, planning and programming as well as liaising closely with all stakeholders including clients, local and national government bodies and the public.
Other desirable attributes include,
- A degree or equivalent industry qualification
- Experience of projects of $10million or above
- Excellent man management, communication and IT skills
- The desire to be part of the company’s growth and future
