We’re seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join a leading civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Queenstown and the wider Otago region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with strong field experience, particularly in 3 Waters and drainage, to step into a long-term role with a company that has a significant secured forward workload and a strong reputation in the market.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for leading site crews, coordinating daily operations, maintaining programme delivery, and ensuring high standards across safety, quality, and productivity.
The role will suit someone who is hands-on, organised, and confident managing people and subcontractors in a fast-paced civil environment.
Key requirements
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or Leading Hand within civil construction
- Strong background in 3 Waters, drainage, and underground services
- Excellent people leadership and man-management skills
- Strong understanding and commitment to Health & Safety best practice
- Ability to read plans, coordinate crews, and manage site activities efficiently
- Relevant civil construction tickets and licences
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
